What it’s all about

  In this part of the Southern Hemisphere people generally find that time and costs prohibit them from attending any of the major Spiritualist gatherings in the UK, Europe and USA; for example the SNU’s Arthur Findlay College, the NSAC’s Lily Dale Assembly Camp and the International Spiritualist Federation’s Conventions. Primarily because of this, the idea of a regional Convention Week was mooted.  So the wheels were put in motion to plan our own function – and, in 2005, the Australasian Spiritualist Rendezvous Week was born.

In keeping with being cost conscious, Rendezvous Week is run along the lines of being “by the participants – for the participants”.  This keeps costs to a minimum and provides a forum for like-minded people to get together for their mutual benefit. It also enables participants to bond together, engendering an atmosphere where each and everyone can contribute what they can to one another’s development as well as making it an enjoyable, educational, stimulating and progressive experience.

The Main Presenters

  Not everybody attending is expected to be able to contribute teaching at the high standard which we wish to provide so we have, as in the past, invited an internationally recognised professional medium as a “Guest Presenter”. This year it is Marcia Quinton from Sydney.

Audrey and Garth Willey will also provide their mediumship teaching and philosophical tutoring services for free and other attendees have already volunteered to undertake a teaching session each… the best way to learn and develop is to become a teacher!

Registration
 

          The 2008 Registration fee, inclusive of full board and all tuition for the 7 days, remains at $A800 in Heritage House and $A940 in the main house; non-residential registration is $600.
